This is my personal website that also includes my blog. It also has a component where it shows what music I’m listening to. There isn’t too much to say about it though.
So this is the start of my personal website, I decided to ship it real quick because I didn’t have any more ideas. (I would love for you guys to give me some though). It uses next.js (goat) with tailwind css. I really liked making this project because this was one of the first projects in a while that I got to learn something new. In this project I learned how to use Vercel KV.
Added a Spotify widget on my homepage with the music that I’m currently listening to and a button to follow my music [Image 1]. Did I mention the cool comic book style tooltip I added to the button? Go check it out! Reformatted the blog posts to accept images and attachments. I also added embedding, different fonts, and color to the blog posts. Did I mention the quotes (The big yellow box)[Image 2]. Of course I added code snippets and one code liners. Then I added embeddings of spotify youtube and whatnot [Image 3]. (Those caused some nasty bugs with my admin editor). Speaking of the admin editor I made it very nice with preview mode and fullscreen writing mode.

I hope you guys like the UI!
Created admin control room with secret access and password. Learned something new with easy vercel redis integration through vercel kv. Started writing the test first post ever after creating the ui. Is it nice? Right now md supports bold and italic but im planning on making it feel more like google docs. Also I did not write all of this code in 22 minutes I have to share some of the credit with myself from last thanksgiving and also Claude 0pus 4.5 (my glorious king)
