FluxAir 3D turns your hand into a 3D pen using real-time hand tracking in the browser. Draw in mid-air and watch glowing strokes appear and float in 3D space using only your webcam.
Today I got the first real piece of FluxAir 3D working. The site can now use the webcam to detect my hand and track my index finger as a glowing cursor on the screen in real time.
Seeing a dot follow my finger in the air felt way cooler than expected. This is officially past the idea stage and into the okay this might actually work stage.
Next up is teaching it to detect a pinch so drawing can finally start.
