Noel Driver Assistant is a web-based AI driving companion designed to bring modern driver-assistance features to older vehicles using nothing more than a smartphone camera.
I built this project to solve a real problem: most cars on the road today donβt have lane keeping, pedestrian detection, or distance warnings. New cars do. Old ones donβt. That gap costs lives.
This app acts like a smart co-pilot that never gets tired.

- Detects road lanes and helps keep the car centered
- Identifies pedestrians and cyclists in real time
- Monitors distance from other vehicles
- Gives audio warnings when the driver drifts or gets too close
- Runs directly in the browser (no installation, no storage usage)

The entire system was developed using Google AI Studio with structured prompting and real-time testing. It runs on the web and only requires a phone camera and mobile data.
