Not a To-Do List

Devlog #3. I added a new page called Overview, which is meant to give a quick, clear snapshot of what you need to work on this week and the next one, plus some useful tools. This page is divided in various widgets: The Daily Brief automatically pulls together useful information about your day, the current week, and what’s coming up, so you can immediately see whether things are calm or if a heavier week is approaching. The Workload section visualizes how much work you have each day of the week, making it easier to spot busy days and plan around them. The Focus Timer suggests something you could work on right now, along with a recommended amount of time, and when you press play it opens in a full-screen view with the timer in the center and relaxing music in the background (I’ll probably add a Pomodoro mode or something similar later on). Finally, I added Quick Capture, which lets you quickly write down tasks or ideas in natural language and turns them into proper activities you can organize later. I designed the protoype on Figma (attached photo)

Devlog #2. Renamed “Calendar” to “Agenda”, since it better matches what I had in mind. Designed the concept for the Agenda page on Figma (attached photo).

First Devlog! In this first 4 hours, I started experimenting with the Qt framework, as I have never used it before. I made the first app prototype there, but since I had no experience, it turned out awful. After spending some time thinking on what to do I decided to first design the concept in Figma and then move on to making it on Qt and make it actually work. After ~3 hours in Figma i finished the first concept of the app’s “Schedule” page (attached photo).

I’m working on my first project! This is so exciting. I can’t wait to share more updates as I build.
