LoRaLink is a portable communication device built by you. It sends and receives text messages using radio signals, without Wi-Fi or internet. The system uses the SX1278 operating on the 433 MHz frequency.
The device runs on battery power. It can transmit messages up to about 5 km in open areas. In a city environment it works reliably at around 1 km. Messages appear on a small screen. You write and send them using buttons or a small keypad. The device creates a direct connection between two units, which makes communication simple and independent of any network.
