Distance Sensor with Joystick or Automated Control and Analog Display

A just for fun project that will have a distance sensor on a servo motor that can be controlled in different ways, such as an automated script of going back and forth, or using a joystick to control it, then an analog display can show/ say that something is far, close or the actual distance.
