3D T³ is a modern, competitive web application that reimagines classic Tic-Tac-Toe in three dimensions. Unlike the flat original, this game is played on a 27-cell interactive cube with 49 possible winning lines across multiple layers and diagonals. The project introduces deep strategic elements like limited “takeovers” (stealing opponent cells) and complex time controls.
Built with Next.js and React Three Fiber (Three.js) for a seamless 3D experience, it uses Supabase to power real-time online multiplayer, live lobbies, and synchronized tournament brackets. It features a responsive design with dark/light modes, optimistic UI updates for instant feedback, and a robust state management system using Zustand.
